Due to the recent changes in governement guidance, our churches are now able to meet again for gathered worship. This is a very happy time for the church, but we are also very aware of those who are still shielding or feel that now is not the time for them to join in larger gatherings.
This is why the 2bsd Church YouTube channel is continuing to broadcast our online Sunday services.
Services will be held in our churches from Sunday 19th July:
8am St Mary's BCP Holy Communion
9.30 St Mary's
9.30 St Peter's
11am St Denys'
11am All Saints'
Services will be somewhat different - a little shorter and without singing, and with socially distanced seating amongst the changes. From Sunday 9th August, due to new government regulations, masks will need to be worn in church.
We have created a YouTube Channel - type in 2bsd Church into YouTube for our online services. There is also a 2bsd Facebook page (Browser / Android app / iOS app) which will be updated too. However, please keep an eye on this website for more information as it becomes available.
Important change to Sunday Morning online service
LIVE STREAMING Sunday Service at 9.30am
From Sunday 6th September, we will be live-streaming the 9.30am service from St Mary's, Bucklebury as our online service. This will replace our previously pre-recorded service. Click the link under "This Sunday" before 9.30am to start watching. We hope that this will be a help and a blessing to you as we worship God together. Please note the new time for the online service will be 9.30am.
The service can still be viewed later on YouTube, though it might be a little later in the morning.
For more services, please visit the 2bsd Church Youtube channel.
‘2bsd’ is the collective name for the parishes of Bucklebury and Marlston, Bradfield, and Stanford Dingley. We are situated in the heart of West Berkshire, within the Diocese of Oxford. Each church has its own regular congregation and distinctive style of worship, ranging from traditional through to more contemporary. However, we share many things and are working together to share the good news of Jesus Christ, and see his Kingdom growing in this area.
Our aim is ‘To Know Christ and to Make Him Known.’ Christian faith is good news – that God loved the world so much that he sent his Son, Jesus, to save it. For Christians, all of life should be lived out of gratitude and service because of what God has done for us through Jesus Christ.
They say life is a journey. The Christian faith is no different. We are on a journey, growing in our knowledge and love of God, and his love for us. Whether you have started this journey yourself, or you’re not sure yet what Christianity is really all about, we’d love you to come and join us.
